At Sunset

There’s a trick to getting great beach photography — wait for the sun to go away! All the white sand and bright sun can interfere with a great shot. These were taken at dusk, just after sunset, so I could get the shadow effect. This summer, you don’t have to go to the beach to get these photos, of course — just imagine a shot like these under The St. Louis Arch!

At The Butterfly House

This time, the butterflies were the subjects. I can’t wait to do a family photo session here sometime! The adjacent park and interesting sculptures would offer a unique setting.
