2010 Christmas Card Round-Up

The last 5 months have been unusually unusual for us with many joys and some unexpected challenges. Time behind the camera offered a great deal of perspective and in some cases a nice distraction from the exhausting holiday blitz. Reflecting on this year’s Christmas card photos a theme of peace, love and joy almost certainly emerges. And despite the craziness that December brought (a 1200 mile round trip, a leg surgery for my husband, the flu and an outbreak of tornadoes on New Year’s Eve) we managed to maintain our tradition of a self portrait shared via post cards with family and friends. Cheers and Happy New Year to all!

The making of a calendar …

I recently started a calendar project for Pro Rehab — an outstanding physical rehabilitation and sports therapy company with several locations in St. Louis and beyond. We’re putting together a 12 (maybe 13?) month calendar as a holiday gift for clients. I can’t wait to see the finished product. The great part about it is that all the photos are available in prints or on canvas! Stay tuned to see which photos are chosen … below is a sneak peek of just one of my favorites.

After a work trip to San Diego, Kris and I met up in San Francisco for a fun-filled long weekend celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary. We were so busy shopping, wine tasting and biking over the Golden Gate Bridge I didn’t take half the photographs I would normally take on a trip like this, but still managed a few good snaps!
