The last 5 months have been unusually unusual for us with many joys and some unexpected challenges. Time behind the camera offered a great deal of perspective and in some cases a nice distraction from the exhausting holiday blitz. Reflecting on this year’s Christmas card photos a theme of peace, love and joy almost certainly emerges. And despite the craziness that December brought (a 1200 mile round trip, a leg surgery for my husband, the flu and an outbreak of tornadoes on New Year’s Eve) we managed to maintain our tradition of a self portrait shared via post cards with family and friends.
